Since June 1999 I am a graduate
student in medieval history and computer science. I work on a
dissertation about the social history of St. Katharinental, a convent of dominican
nuns in the vicinity of Schaffhausen in Switzerland. The questions
include the the life in the convent itself and the integration in
the regional social environment.

| Les jeux de rôle grandeur nature constituent l'un de mes hobbies favoris. Nous jouons des histoires dans le style de Tolkien et de la littérature fantastique du même type. Les personnages que j'interprète vivent dans le califat de TIKON, un pays au touché oriental, dont la grandeur correspondt à peu près à celle de l'actuelle Suisse-allemande.. |

Das andere sehr verwandte und etwas
ernsthaftere Hobby ist Re-Enactment. Es handelt sich dabei um das authentische
Nachstellen von historischem Leben in allen seinen Facetten. Ich bin Mitglied
der Companie of Saynte George, die das Leben im Feld zur Zeit der Burgunderkriege
im späten 15. Jahrhundert darstellt.
